Your brand, on my iPhone Ultra.
Apple's first foldable lands on 18 September. I'm walking into an Apple Store that morning to buy one, paid for by selling its surfaces: 14 spots, vinyl stickers on the back and wallpaper tiles on both screens, one live auction. Brands outbid each other until the store opens; the winning logos ride along everywhere I build, film and demo.

Everyone will be staring at this phone. Put your logo on it.
The Apple logo is the most recognised mark on earth. Yours goes right next to it, on Apple's first foldable, in the first months when strangers still ask to see it.
The auction, live.

Three steps. One phone.

Pick a spot
iPhone Ultra: 8 sticker spots on the back, priced by size and how close they sit to the Apple logo, plus 6 lock-screen wallpaper tiles across the cover screen and the inner display.
- 2
Win the bid
Bid with a 20% deposit (from $10). Brands outbid each other until Apple Stores open on launch day; the top bid on each spot at that moment wins. Outbid? Your deposit rolls into your next bid on that spot, and your logo stays on this page either way.

Your sticker rides along
I print your logo as a die-cut vinyl sticker, apply it, and run a crystal-clear case over the lot so nothing peels. Wherever the phone goes, in every photo, demo and video, your brand is on it.

Questions & answers.
Is this real?
Completely. The phone is real (well, imminent), the stickers are real die-cut vinyl, and I'll carry it everywhere and film with it. The only fictional thing is the idea that the back of a $2,399 phone isn't premium ad inventory.
Why the iPhone Ultra?
It's the first new iPhone form factor in years. I build iOS apps, and a new form factor means new screen sizes, new layouts, new bugs. I want to be building for it from day one, not a year later. Also: for the next few months, every eye in the room lands on this phone.
What do I actually get?
- A die-cut vinyl sticker of your logo in the spot you won, sealed under a clear case.
- A spot on this page with a link to your site, for as long as the page is up.
- Your logo in the photos, hands-on videos and demos I post with the phone.
Won't stickers on a phone peel off?
Not under a case. The stickers go on the bare back, then a crystal-clear case goes over everything. That keeps them flat, dry and visible through pockets, cafés and airport trays. They stay on until the phone is replaced, and at least until 31 December 2026.
How does payment work?
Bidding takes a 20% deposit (minimum $10), paid by card through Dodo Payments when you bid; Dodo sends the receipt. If you win, it counts toward your bid and your bid page shows a link to pay the balance within 7 days. If you're outbid, the deposit is not refunded: bid again on the same spot with the same email and it rolls in, so you only pay the difference; or keep it as your listing, with your logo and link on this page and in the spot's history. If I refuse a logo, that deposit does come back in full. Everything settles in US dollars.
What if someone outbids me?
You stay on the page: in the spot's history, on the brand wall and on the leaderboard, with your link. Your bid page shows live whether you still hold the spot, and you can swing back from there; the deposit you already paid rolls into the new bid. A new bid has to beat the standing one by at least $10. Any bid in the final 10 minutes pushes the close back by 10 minutes, so nobody wins by sniping. If you would rather be on a different spot, ask me and I can move your bid there.
When does it end?
On launch day, 18 September, the moment Apple Stores open. I'm not pre-ordering: I'm walking into a store that morning and buying it with the money on the table. There is no fundraising target: brands simply outbid each other until the doors open, and the top bid on each spot wins.
What are the screen spots?
6 lock-screen wallpaper tiles: 2 on the 5.5″ cover screen (which faces outward when the phone is open) and 4 on the 7.8″ inner display, for the auction period plus 30 days. The unfold is the shot everyone films, and the cover screen is what people see every time the phone comes out of a pocket.
Can any brand join?
Almost. Every logo is approved by hand before it goes on the phone, and I keep the final say. No scams, no adult content, no hate, nothing I'd be embarrassed to carry into a meeting. If your bid is refused, your deposit comes back in full.
What if Apple changes the name, the price or the date?
The spec block on this page gets updated and the auction continues. If the phone doesn't ship or I can't get one, every deposit is refunded in full, no questions asked.
Why not just buy it?
Because $2,399 for a phone is a lot, and because turning it into an auction is more fun than a credit card. If this flops, I'll wait and buy it when I can, but you won't be on it then.
Why I'm doing this.
Hey, I'm Rohan
Solo founder. I ship iOS apps and web products, build in public, and film most of it. The iPhone Ultra is the first new iPhone form factor in years, so I want one from day one to build for it. I'm funding it by renting out its back.
Questions, or want a spot?
Inspired by Vincent's Brand My Mac, which funded a MacBook the same way. Same idea, smaller surface, bigger spotlight: iPhone Ultra.
